| Purpose: Even before the Gas Boom, Sublette County experienced population increases related to amenity-led development in the area. While the majority of thee current gas field related migration has thus far maintained permanent residency elsewhere, these non residents have placed additional strain on housing ins Sublette County. Additionally, in the tradition of wanting our young people to stay in Wyoming, concerns are growing that they will not be able to afford to live in the communities in which they have been raised. The Sublette County Housing Conference will present a primer for workforce/affordable housing and will give Sublette County residents a chance to learn and decide what course of action -- if any -- they wish to undertake for the future. |
